The Department of Product & Systems Design Engineering is located in the city of Ermoupolis, on the Island of Syros, capital of the Cyclades group of islands in Greece. Syros can be reached either by airplane via Athens or by ship from the port of Piraeus.

Getting from Athens Airport to Piraeus Port
There are buses and metro from Eleftherios Venizelos Airport to Piraeus Port. The buses depart every 20 minutes and the bus number is X96. Information about bus route X96 from Piraeus to the Airport (note that AEROLIMENAS ATHINON (TERMA) means airport and AFETERIA mean Piraeus).
The duration of the road trip is about 90 minutes. You can also reach Piraeus Port by taxi from the airport (expensive for one person).
